Company ProfileECONOMIC GROWTH CENTERS, INC., is a non-profit corporation established in 1984 and registered as a community development corporation with the State of Minnesota. As of May 7, 2008 the company changed its name from Whittier Community Development Corporation to its present name to better reflect its geographic service area. It belongs to the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers and has a long and proud history of providing real estate development, incubator services, property management, bookkeeping, financial and technical assistance, as well as loan origination with several community based loan funds. Its current focus is on education and training of small business owners and targeted real estate development.
